Aussie picks for UK summer festivals

Its summer time and dragging yourself into a dark, dingy pub for your next music hit can sometimes be a challenge. That’s why the music gods invented FESTIVALS!

You know the score; maybe you’ve bought your ticket or are still deciding. The line ups for them are massive and we’re happy to say the Aussie acts are playing their part.

To help your choice or get you excited here’s a few Aussie picks representing in the 2012 UK festival circuit.

Jinga Safari – Bestival (Isle of Wight)

Hilltop Hoods – Wireless Festival (London)

DZ Deathrays – Reading/Leeds (One guess)

and the pub rock legends themselves; Cold Chisel – Hard Rock Calling (London)

There’s a shed load more. Check out our gig guide, for every festival you should find an Aussie act flying the flag. Except for the Morris Dancing Festival, but roll on 2013…

We saw Jinga Safari a few weeks ago and they were kewwwlll. So why not enjoy one of their songs?

Oh and get ready for lots of gig news over the next two weeks, because if you’re in London and heart Australian music you won’t be disappointed.
